The Taj Mahal is located in the Agra City of Uttar Pradesh, India. The Yamuna River is just behind the Taj Mahal, which adds to the beauty of the place. The Mahal was built and commissioned in 1632 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and dedicated to the tomb of the house for his favorite wife Mum Taj.
The incredible Taj Mahal was built by 20,000 artisans under the architect of emperor Ustad Ahmad Lauhari. 2. Agra Fort – Places of Mughal Emperor
AGRA fort is a famous historical fort which is located in the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh on the right bank of the Yamuna River which is 2 km upstream from the Tajmahal. The Fort is built strongly by the Mughals and the fort is made of sandstone in the Mughal style of art and architecture.
Agra Fort was mainly constructed by the third Mughal emperor Akbar, but the Shahjahan grandson of Akbar, constructed the palaces of marble inside the fort itself. The main entrance to the fort was through the grander Delhi Gate in the west wall. Agra is one the top historical places in India, where you can see greatest and famous Indian Monuments.
3. Red Fort – Pride Of India
RED fort is also known as “Lal Quila” which is one of the historical forts and is located in Delhi, the Capital of India. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and the journey started to construct the fort from 12th May 1639 to 6th April 1648.
The Red Fort is made of red sandstone which reveals the beauty of this fort and the unique architecture attracts thousands of tourists every year. The architecture is strategically designed, there are fourteen gates, but now these days some of the gates are closed. 4. Qutab Minar- Greatest Indian Monuments
Qutub Minar is located in the Mehrauli area of Delhi. It was built by Qutb Al-din Aibak in 1220, which was started in 1192. The Minar is 73 meters in height and the diameter of the base is 15 meters to 2.5 meters in top height. The construction material is Redstone and marble is used to construct the Minar, 1st three story are built by Redstone and 2 stories are made with marbles. At the time of construction, the Minar was recorded longest tower in the world and created famous historical places in India.
At the foot of the Minar is a Mosque, which is known as Quwwat-ul-Islam, the first mosque in was built. The pillars and stones are found in Hindu temple art, Qutb Al-din Aibak demolished many Hindu temples to build the mosque. 5. Hawa Mahal – A Palace of Winds
Hawa Mahal is an example of the greatest Indian monuments architecture in the world. The Mahal is located in Jaipur, the Capital of Rajasthan, The Land of historical places in India. The Hawa Mahala Palace was built in 1799 by Maharaj Sawai Pratap Singh. The Monuments was built by Redstone and marbles. The architecture of the monuments is in the shape of the Hindu GOD Sri Krishna crown.
The main purpose of the Hawa Mahal was to see the street activity by the royal woman, without seeing commuters. Surprisingly, The Mahal is 5 story building and 933 small-small windows decorated towards the roadside. 6. Amer Fort ( Amber Fort)
Amer Fort is located in the Pink City Jaipur, which is a famous and excellent architecture of Fort with and panoramic view of the City. The Fort was built by King Man Singh 1 in 1592. The Fort is just 11 Km away from the main city of Jaipur and main tourist attraction point for all. There is elephant ride available at the place, which gives a royal experience to reach the fort.
In the Fort, You will see an example of a perfect architect as “Sheesh Mahal”. The fort is also placed to see the Diwan-e-Aam and Diwane-Khaas, Sukh Niwas (Sukh Mandir), and the Lake.
7. Jaigarh Fort
Jaigarh Fort is situated on the Aravali hill called “Chill ka Tilla” in Jaipur and overlooks Amer Fort. The Fort was built in the early 18th century by Sawan Jai Singh II and created one of the great historical places in India. The construction and architecture of the Fort are very strong and one of the strongest Indian Monuments. The wall of the Fort is very thick and the diameter is 3 km long and 1 km wide.
The Purpose of the Fort was to protect the Amer Fort. At the time For was used for all war strategies, arms manufacturing, army training, and all. The World’s Biggest Cannon was manufactured in Jaigarh Fort and is still there. But the Cannon was fired only once for testing.
One of the stories behind the test fire of great Cannon is that at the time of the Fire, All the people and animals were evacuated from the 10 km in diameter the Fort. The team who had fired the Cannon dived into the nearest lake, but still, all the people who test-fired lost their listening ability. Cannon can fire up to 35 km distance with 50-kilogram Gunpowder. 8. Jal Mahal Palace
The Jal Mahal is also counted as a Historical place in India because of the historical Place of Jaipur. The Mahal was built by King Madho Singh I and generation by generation managed by the Royal family and added some extra value to make it beautiful. The Mahal is 5 Km away from Jaipur City and on the way to Amer Fort.
The Jal Mahal is 5 five-story building and four of Five are underwater, Only one story is exposed to see from the outside. Jal Mahal is built in Man Sagar Lake near the Dam, which provides a picturesque view of the lake.
9. Jantar Mantar- Astronomical tool
The Jantar Mantar is one of the greatest Indian Monuments and major tourist attractions in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is an astronomical tool that helps to know the astronomical position through the naked eye. The tool is a collection of 19 astronomical instruments and the design of the tool is in Hindu’s Sanskrit texts.
Jantar Mantar was built by Maharaj Sawai Jai Singh II and completed in 1734 CE. The tool comes in under UNESCO World Heritage Sites and has one of the world’s largest stone SUN dials.

10. City Palace – Udaipur
The City Palace is situated in the heart of the City and on the east bank of Pichola Lake. The Construction of the Palace was begun in 1553 by Maharana Udai Singh II. It has been built period over period and took 400 years to complete the architecture. The Palace architecture design is mixed of Indian, Chinese, European, and Mughalai.

Monsoon Palace is located in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan India, and is also known as Sajjan Garh Palace. The monsoon palace was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1884. 12. Lake Palace (Jag Niwas)
Lake Palace is one of the most beautiful hotels these days but previously it was the summer royal resort, Used by the royal family. It was built by Maharana Jagat Singh II in 1746. The Palace is situated on the Island of Jagniwas and is surrounded by the famous and beautiful Lake Pichola.

13. Khajuraho Temple
Khajuraho Temple is one of the greatest Indian monuments, which is evidence of the great Indian Kama Sutra. The Temple name Khajuraho is associated with the forest of the date palm. Khajuraho temple is located in Chatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, India.
The Khajuraho temple is famous for its Nagara-style architectural and erotic sculptures. The group of monuments was built by the Chandela dynasty in 950 to 1050 ED. 16. Rani Ki Vav, Patan, Gujarat
